Adventure Set in Miare City

• The adventure begins in Miare City, a major city in the Kalos region that also appeared in Pokémon X and Pokémon Y. To achieve the goal of coexistence between humans and Pokémon, the city is promoting urban redevelopment projects. Numerous wild Pokémon inhabit the "Wild Zone," a zone developed using the latest technology.
• The protagonist visiting Miare City will choose one of three Pokémon: Chikorita, Warmheart, and Croctos, as their partner and join them in challenging various events and incidents throughout the city.

After dark, challenge the "ZA Summit Battle"

• At night, the city transforms into a "Battle Zone," a state-of-the-art red holographic projection. The "ZA Summit Battle" takes place daily within the zone, where Trainers compete in Pokémon battles from sunset to dawn. Participants are assigned "ranks" from Z to A, with all participants starting at Rank Z. Reaching Rank A grants the title of "strongest" and the honor of having one wish granted.

A series first, Pokémon and Trainer battles in real time.

• During battle, Pokémon move with their Trainer and perform moves simultaneously according to their Trainer's instructions. In addition to stat counters, new gameplay elements such as the timing of Pokémon swaps and move selection, move range, and attack speed have been added, allowing for unprecedented Pokémon battle excitement.

Mastering the key to this game: Mega Evolution

• In Miare City, Mega Evolutions, even beyond evolution, are common. Some Pokémon can Mega Evolve, temporarily unleashing their hidden power to achieve a level of power superior to normal evolutions. Mastering Mega Evolutions is the key to victory.
