YOHO Extended Warranty Services

 

During the extended warranty period, beside the original warranty, YOHO will provide customers with an extra warranty period.

Warranty amount:
The maximum amount of compensation to customers is 100% of the product purchase price. If the products cannot be repaired, YOHO will offer customer with the same model or products with similar functions and quality. An administrative fee of HK$100 will be charged each time.

Warranty period:
Extended Warranty service can only be purchased after purchasing products in YOHO online store, and each purchased product can only be registered for this service once. The purchased extra warranty period will be started after the end of the original warranty period from manufacturers (if any). If a refund occurs after purchase, this service will be invalid.

Claimed amount:
1) The repair or replacement of the purchased products must be handled by the customer through the original manufacturer and/or its authorized repair centre.

2) Customers must bring the original repair receipt issued by the manufacturer and/or its authorized repair centre to any of our physical stores for verification. The original repair receipt must include, but is not limited to, the lMEl number of the purchased product or the serial number for identifying the product, device model, repair date, screen/ device parts/ damage reasons, and repair costs for damaged screen/ device parts. If the package or body of the product is sold with the lMEl number or the serial number for identifying the product, they must be included in the repair receipt, otherwise the warranty cannot be applied.

3) The product repairing date must occur within the extended warranty period.

4) During the extended warranty period, customers need to submit a document listing the repair costs in order to successfully claim the repairing spending. The maximum compensation amount is 100% of the product purchase price. An administrative fee of HK$100 is needed for each application.

5) If the goods cannot be repaired during the extended warranty period, the customer must bring a valid certificate issued by the original manufacturer and/or its authorized repair centre to prove that they are failed to repair the product. YOHO will then replace them with the same model or products with similar functions and quality.

This service will not be provided for the following losses or damages:
1) Man-made damage; or
2) Wear, mechanical or electronic wear, flood, theft due to normal use; or
3) Normal wear and tear of the battery; or
4) Damage without affecting the operation of the product, including but not limited to scratches, cracks (except for glass or display cracks that affect the operation of the screen), split, chromatic aberration, discoloration, changes in external shape; or
5) The lMEl number or the serial number for identifying the product has been altered, removed, deleted, obliterated, changed or unreadable; or
6) Loss or damage to purchased devices that have been modified or connected without permission, opened without permission, repaired by unauthorized maintenance personnel, or repaired with parts from non-original manufacturers.
Yoho Screen Proctection Service
From the effective date within the warranty period, when the eligible device screen of the mobile phone / tablet computer / laptop / wearable device / ebook reader and/ or its LCD display and/ or its back is damaged due to an accident, you can be paid for the repair or replacement of the screen and/ or its LCD display and/ or its back once. The customer must provide the original repair invoice issued by the original manufacturer and/or its authorized repair centre approved by YOHO to get paid. The payment is capped at HK$1,500 and the base fee is HK$200 every time.

This service only limited to the payment for the device screen and/ or its LCD display and/ or the back of the mobile phone/ designated wearable device due to accidental damage. Otherwise, any repair or refurbishment of the mobile phone or its parts will not be paid. If the original mobile phone manufacturer and/or its authorized repair centre only provide mobile phone replacement as the only repair option, the company may exercise its discretion to provide 70% of the total cost of the, and the payment percentage may be updated over time. YOHO reserves the right of final decision on payment.

To be paid for this service, the customer must agree to abide by the terms listed below: All repairs or replacements must be processed by the original manufacturer and/or its authorized repair centre approved by; the original repair invoice must include but not limited to the lMEl number of the guaranteed device, the device model, the repair date, and the repair cost of the screen/ electronic parts. During the warranty period, customers can be paid only once.

YOHO reserves the right of final decision on this offer and can change the terms and conditions of this offer without prior notice.
Delivery Time
The estimated dellivery will be shown on the product page. Extra time would be needed for the following locations:
  • Remote area in Hong Kong, Oulying Islands (Cheung Chau, Lamma Island, Peng Chau etc), Ma Wan, Lantau Island, Airport Restricted Areas.
  • Mainland China, Macau, Taiwan and other overseas region. 
Limited delivery service will be provided on public holidays and eves (e.g. Lunar New Year, Mid-Autumn Festival, Winter Solstice, Christmas). The delivery time may be delayed.

2. Over 2,000 self pick-up location
Base on the pacel size, our system would decide wether the order is fit for self pick-up location. The self pick-up location includes: smart locker (SF, Alfred, Pakpobox), SF service center, convienience store (OK, 7-11, Vango, Shell).

Self Pick-up Steps:
Pick up location is shown on the checkout page
Customers will recieve SMS notification when the parcels arrive the pick-up location
If the parcels are not collected within 30 hours, courier may take it back anytime
If the order is below $400, shipping fee will be charged.

3. Retail store pickup
Retail store pickup, simple and fast.
When the product can be picked up, system will send an email notification, customer can present the email and pick it up at the store.

Shipping Fee Enquiry
Generally speaking, for package weighted under 1 kg, a shipping fee of HK$33 will be charged. For package weighted more than 1kg, extra fee will be considerably charged, customers can view the fee on the payment page clearly.

Tax on Cross-Border E-Commerce (shipping to Mainland China)
The following instructions are only applicable to customers in Mainland China.

 1. What is the current national policy for purchasing products on cross-border e-commerce platforms?

 According to the "Notice on Improving the Tax Policies for Cross-border E-commerce Retail Imports", the single transaction limit for cross-border e-commerce retail imports is RMB 5,000, and the individual annual transaction limit is RMB 26,000.

For cross-border e-commerce retail imported goods imported within the limit, the tariff rate is temporarily set to 0%. The import link value-added tax and consumption tax are cancelled, and the tax exemption is temporarily levied at 70% of the legal tax payable.

When the duty-paid price exceeds the single transaction limit of $5,000 but is less than the annual transaction limit of $26,000, and there is only one item under the order, it can be imported from cross-border e-commerce retail channels. Full tariff, import value-added tax and consumption tax will be levied based on the product tax rate. The transaction amount is included in the total annual. However, if the total annual transaction exceeds the annual transaction limit, it shall be managed as general trade.

2. Do members in Mainland China need to pay tax on goods purchased on YOHO?

 For goods purchased on YOHO, consumers pay the corresponding taxes and fees based on the amount of the goods in the order and the corresponding tax rate when the order is submitted. They do not need to pay separately to the corresponding customs department.

According to the policy, cross-border e-commerce retail imported goods are subject to tariff, import value-added tax, and consumption tax. Individuals who purchase cross-border e-commerce retail imported goods are taxpayers. The actual transaction price (including the retail price of goods, freight and insurance) Fees) as the duty-paid price, e-commerce companies, e-commerce transaction platform companies or logistics companies can act as agents of collection and payment.

Taxes = purchase price x quantity x comprehensive cross-border e-commerce tax rate

Cross-border e-commerce comprehensive tax rate= [(consumption tax rate + value-added tax rate) / (1-consumption tax rate)] ×70%

Note: Coupons can only be used to deduct the product cost. Taxes and fees are collected and paid by YOHO first. If the goods are returned due to personal reasons, the taxes and fees will not be refunded; if the goods are returned due to the problem of the goods themselves, the taxes and fees will be refunded.
