Product Description

Sleep monitor for detecting muscle contractions

The top selling seizure muscle contraction monitor and currently in use in over 60 countries worldwide. The Emfit MM is clinically proven technology for monitoring an individual who, during sleep, may experience faster, abnormal muscle jerkings that continue 10 seconds or longer. A quick, high-frequency alert allows a caregiver or family member ample time to respond. Easy to install, and no false alarms that can lead to user fatigue.

The Emfit MM consists of two main components: a flexible and durable bed sensor placed under the mattress and a bed-side monitor with sophisticated embedded software. It detects when a person has continuous faster movements over a pre-set amount of time and then triggers a notification. The system also notices light movements, thus making it equally suitable for small children.

The control unit can be clipped to the bed using the included clip, mounted on the wall using the included fastening bracket, or placed at bedside. It is operated with 2 pcs AA size 1.5 V batteries. An optional, medical grade AC adapter is also available.

For short-distance notifications the Emfit MM has an audible alarm with adjustable volume. It can also interface with most nurse call systems, wireless transmitters and personal emergency phones with the included dry-contact output (NO and NC).
